Besides the accuracy and cutting down the stage volume, it’s essential to my playing after years of injuries to Ye Olde Bass Drum Foot. Torn ligaments from sports as a teenager, a car crash, a motorcycle accident (a driver that turned in front of me), etc….
 
I depend on my P&D rig to keep from overplaying and blowing out my ankle. So it’s not a luxury item, by any means. There is simply no competition, and I’ve tried every other alternative. I’m quite grateful, actually, so thanks.”
