The P&D BC2 is not about drummer’s luxury, it’s a crucial need. It’s about being fully aware of how your drums really sound like, aware of what all the people in the crowd in front of you are feeling when you play. For me, it’s about taking your own responsibility: Being accurately aware of each piece of musical information you’re sending to the audience, even in the low frequencies (which can’t be transmitted to you even by the best in-ears monitors you could have).

On top of that, the BC2 makes your drum kit MUCH MORE FUN to play! This is like enjoying the huge and fat sound of your favorite band playing live in front of you, except that… you’re on stage, actually making yourself the music that you’re enjoying right now. And this is a very unique feeling…

I’m also playing a lot of electronic music live, and my BC2 helps me to find the perfect balance (levels, EQ, …) between all my drum samples in the extreme low frequencies. It’s really helpful to be able to check in advance how you’re gonna sound on a huge PA!
